## Advisor Style & Mentorship Weekly one on one yelling session. Advisor has a giant ego and will not admit to wrong or fault. Advisor is a fake person in front of strangers, but a crazy psychopath to her graduate students. Will yell at you for not doing things her way or in the order she wants. Very last min, will ask you to do things very last minute and be upset if you refuse. There's no mentorship, you're on your own for theory and research. She's not good at answering questions, and doesn't know the research well either. She will micromanage you and constantly check on your progress, but if you ask her for help or questions, she is not helpful at all. She will yell at you for not asking the collaborator instead. She kiss ass to her higher up and looks down on people with lower ranking than her. She'll complain and talk shit about her students behind their back.
## Expectations for PhD Students Her expectations are too high. She says she expects you to work 40 hrs a week, but she wants you to finish 80 hrs of work a week. She will yell at you for not finishing the tasks or not making enough progress.
## Funding & Support A lot of funding, but no students to do the projects because most of them left the group.
